Zocaloc Youth Arts Coalition

The primary goal of the Zocaloc Youth Arts Coalition is to provide alternative choices for  youths in our community.  We have seen a growing need for community services to help our youth stay out of trouble. Such paths of action would be in educating our youths in the arts. This education would include Life drawing, Painting, Block printing and Silk screening. An education in the Arts will broaden a youths outlook and promote creativity.

       This Youth Arts Program will be held at

Academia Advance Charter School in Highland Park, California . The Youth Arts Program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm for 6 weeks. Our target goal is to have no more than 25 students attend the Summer Arts Class. At the completion of the six week course a small Art show will we held to exhibit the students Artwork and show off their completed Silkscreen designs on the students t shirts. At this time all parents or guardians will be invited to see what their children have created  and learned in the six weeks of Learning.
